Fans of those teams who will play in Donetsk will be amazed to have more facts about this city.

There’re no direct flights to Donetsk from Amsterdam or similar important airports. But this review is sent in September 2011 and the situation will certainly change in June of next year.

For the moment you have to arrive to Kyiv airport first. You’ll have three internal flights from Kyiv Borispil airportto Donetsk each day, but there shold be more before2012 Football Cup.

Another way to arrive to Donetsk is to take a coach from Kyiv Borispil airport. The trip will last about 6 hours. No sense to give the price as it will incease during 2012 European cup, but is’t about 19 euros at this moment.

If you’re several in your trip you can reduce expenses and call a taxi. The cost now is 300 eurosfrom Kiev Borispil Airport to Donetsk.

And finally you can come to Kyiv which is at 35munutes from Kyiv airport. You can get there by bus (3 Euros in October 2011) or by taxi (25 euros in October 2011)
There’re about 8 trains each day from Kyiv city to Donetsk, the rate is nearly17 EUR and should remain the same before June 2012.
There’s no option purchase a train ticket online for now.

As for accommodation, there’re few rooms in Donetsk hotels, but there’s another possibility to sojourn in Donetsk and almost no travellers form other countries know about it. Rent Donetsk apartments for short term are much cheaper then hotel rooms, but the rate is set by apartment and not per each fan. Even if apartments owners start to take money per traveler it will be mush cheaper. Moreover, there’s a furnished kitchen in any apartment in Donetsk, so you don’t spent money for restaurants.
